The audio is pretty good but I've been doing a lot of adventure off road riding so I haven't tried it without the waterproof case yet. I suspect once its out of the sealed box the audio will be much better though.THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!! I just bought a nice 58" wonder tv and when watching your videos do not watch them via the component cable. I burnt the files to a DVD then played them on the PS3 and OMG HUGE improvement! I thought wow, the resolution and quality of this camera is impressive then I played the files on the DVD and WOW I'll say again WOW! it was like flipping from standard def to High def tv channels, amazing difference. I could see my buddies bike roll through a mud puddle and watch the dirt swirl around, every rock, branch, tree, river, lump of moss and mud puddle was in crisp vivid detail. The battery has a long life and the video quality is great. Comes with lots of mount options besides the suction base. You must have a tough computer to edit FullHD video, it generates large and heavy files, and probably you will have to convert from the Mpeg-4 format to another more edit friendly format. I am a FinalCut user, and it's impossible to edit with the original GoPro file but that's a easy fix, you just have to convert it to ProRes or another more edit friendly codec.
